Terms of Sale & Returns
Last updated: 6 July 2026
Who you are buying from
When you buy from everaftergames.com you are buying from Ever After Games, a UK games studio and online shop. You can reach us through the contact form on our site or by email at hello@everaftergames.com.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ordering and prices
- All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Online checkout is processed securely through Shopify. Your order is an offer to buy; the contract is formed when we confirm dispatch.
- If we cannot supply something you have ordered (for example a pricing or stock error) we will tell you and refund anything you have paid for it in full.
Delivery
Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. If your order has not arrived in a reasonable time, contact us and we will chase it or put it right.
Changing your mind: your 14-day cancellation right
For online orders of physical goods you have the right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, to cancel your order for any reason:
- You have 14 days from the day after you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods to tell us you are cancelling. For an order delivered in parts, the 14 days run from receipt of the last item.
- Tell us through the contact form on our site or by email at hello@everaftergames.com, or by any other clear statement. You do not need to give a reason.
- You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back to: Returns, Ever After Games, 144 Market Street, Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria, LA15 8RQ.
- We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or of you providing proof of postage, if earlier). The refund goes to your original payment method.
- The refund covers the price of the goods plus the cheapest standard delivery charge you paid on the order. If you chose a premium delivery option, we refund up to the standard rate.
- You pay the cost of returning the goods when you have simply changed your mind. (Faulty or wrong items are different, see below: we cover those.)
- You may unpack and inspect items as you would in a shop, but we can reduce the refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by handling beyond that (for example assembled or painted miniatures, or heavy shelf wear).
Where the cancellation right does not apply
- Sealed trading card products (booster packs and boxes) and other sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery, where the seal protects the value of the random or copyable contents.
- Personalised or custom orders (for example special-order items made to your specification).
- Digital content (games, in-game unlocks and LitCoins) once supply has begun, where you agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged losing the cancellation right at the point of purchase. Until supply begins the normal 14-day right applies.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, everything we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not:
- Within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty item for a full refund.
- After 30 days and within 6 months you are entitled to a repair or replacement; if that fails, a refund (which may be partial after the first 6 months). In the first 6 months it is presumed the fault was there at delivery unless we show otherwise.
- For faulty, damaged or incorrectly sent items we pay the return postage and refund you in full, including delivery. Contact us first and we will arrange it.
- Missing components in board games can often be fixed fastest with a replacement part; tell us what is missing and we will sort it.
Digital games, LitCoins and the closed beta
- LitCoins are a store credit usable across Ever After services (1 LitCoin has a redemption value of one penny against purchases). They are not e-money and cannot be exchanged for cash except where the law requires.
- Most Ever After original titles are currently in closed beta: they are not on general sale, access is limited to invited testers, and features and availability may change before release.
- If we permanently withdraw a paid digital title, we will offer an appropriate remedy such as replacement content or a refund of what you paid for it.
