Contraction Timer is a one-tap contraction timer app for Android, made by Ever After Games, part of the Ever After Group (UK). This page explains what the app does and does not do with data. The short version: your timing data never leaves your phone.
Your contraction log and settings are saved in the app's local storage on your device only. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and it does not send your workout data anywhere. Deleting the app's data in Android settings, or uninstalling the app, permanently removes everything.
The Google Play version of Contraction Timer shows a small banner advert and an occasional between workouts, served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure adverts, Google may collect device information including the device's advertising ID. In the UK/EEA the app asks for your consent first, through Google's consent form, and you can change your choice at any time from "Ad privacy options" in the app's Settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings. How Google uses this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Buying the one-time Remove ads purchase switches advertising off entirely; after that the app makes no advertising requests at all. The purchase itself is processed by Google Play; we never see your payment details.
The Amazon Appstore version of Contraction Timer carries no advertising and makes no network requests.
Contraction Timer is a support tool for timing contractions. It gives general guidance only and never replaces advice from your midwife or doctor.
Because Contraction Timer keeps no personal data about you on our systems, there is nothing for us to look up, correct or delete on our side: your data is on your device and under your control. UK GDPR rights requests relating to advertising data collected by Google are best made through the Google links above, but if you contact us we will help.
